IMPORTERS / AGENTS TO RECALL IMPLICATED MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS FROM CHINA WHICH ARE ALREADY SOLD IN THE MARKET


Due to the issue of contamination of melamine in milk and milk products imported from China, Ministry of Health is instructing all importers / agents who brought such implicated products to Malaysia which are already sold in the local market to recall them immediately.

The implicated milk and milk products from China cover products as follows:-
a). Milk
b). Milk products
c). Chocolate
d). Ice cream
e). Butter
f). Biscuits
g). Cheese
h). Yogurt
i). Flour and sugar confections
j). Cakes
k). Any food products containing milk imported from China as its ingredients

WHITE RABBIT CREAMY CANDY IMPORTED FROM CHINA BANNED

As a result of a positive detection of melamine in White Rabbit Creamy Candy from China found by Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA), Singapore, Ministry of Health is imposing a ban towards any importation of this product.

Therefore, a Level 6 (Auto Rejection) Examination Level through FoSIM will be imposed for White Rabbit Creamy Candy from China immediately.

All importers / agents are restricted from importing White Rabbit Creamy Candy from China for the time being.
